There will be crafts, music, food and lots of wonderful people. As well, August 13-16 you can celebrate the diversity of the various communities in Durham at the Durham Region Festival. Summer is the best opportunity to eat healthy farm-fresh meals. With so many wonderful farmers’ markets in the area, there are plenty of options, should you decide to pick and choose. Some of them, for example Linton Farms, have great extras – like a petting zoo for children, activities and more.
One of the best things about Durham Region is the wonderful ways to enjoy the outdoors. In fact, the Municipality of Clarington alone has over 70 parks to choose from – so it's easy to find something fun to do.
